Tour 2:

Kolegiacki Hotel – Cathedral Island – Church of Our Lady – Poznań Cathedral – Jordan Bridge – Porta Posnania – Śródka – Kontener Art.

From 'Kolegiacki Hotel (1) located on a square with the same name, we are walking down Wodna street towards Garbary street, then from Małe Garbary street we can follow on foot or by tram (one tram stop) in the direction of Rondo Środka to tram stop Katedra (left side). We are now at Ostrów Tumski - the Cathedral Island (2). We are facing the Church of Our Lady (Kościół Najświętszej Marii Panny) (3). There is an obligatory visit to the Cathedral (4). Not far from the cathedral there is Genius Loci, i.e., the Archaeological Reserve Genius Loci which presents at the 6 m depth traces of the beginnings of the Polish statehood.

From the Cathedral we are passing the Jordan Bridge (5) seeing Porta Posnania (Brama Poznania) (6) an amazing interactive museum of the origins of Polish statehood. We are in Śródka (7) a revitalized district of Poznań with some nice restaurants. From here we can walk back to Kolegiacki or... we could find a nice spot in the riverside called KontenerArt (8).

We recommend a tiny restaurant Vine Bridge (9) (be advised that a reservation is a must to get a table), Wspólny Stół (10) and Dynx (11) for dinning in this area.
