Tour 3:

Hotel 'Kolegiacki' - Fara and Jesuit College - 'Old Market' - Royal Castle - Bazar - Square of Freedom – Old Brewery

From Kolegiacki hotel we are heading to the Jesuit college and the Fara church (Kościół Fara) (1) located at Gołębia street. This church is a must-see. After visiting Fara, we follow Gołębia street and then to the left to Wrocławska street. It's a nice pedestrian zone with numerous cafes which will lead us directly to the heart of the city which is the Old Market (Stary Rynek) (2). There is lots to see here. From the Old Market along Ludgarda street and then Paderewskiego street we are going up to the corner where stands 'Bazar' (4).

This is in a direction to Freedom square – Plac Wolności (5). Just opposite Bazar we can see a huge complex of the National Museum (Muzeum Narodowe) (6). We can also turn from the square to the left to Ratajczaka street. Walking along this street for about 15 minutes we will get to 'the Old Brewery' (Stary Browar) (7), an unusual shopping centre built in style (a good shopping guaranteed, good food as well).

There are plenty of restaurants in the vicinity of the Old Market to choose from for a dinner place. We recommend especially: Brovaria (8), Chimera (9) and Cafe Bordo (10), the latter for its nice garden in a yard. To get a snack or a piece of good tarte in the Old Brewery go, for instance, to a café Petit Paris which is located at the ground floor near the northern entrance. There are at least four restaurants in Old Brewery shopping centre, where you could dine in. Please, use the local information system of the centre to find them.
